Destination : Colombo – Habarana – Kandy – Colombo

Day 01 : Arrive Colombo – Habarana (190 kms / 04 hrs)
Today on your arrival at Colombo airport, our company representative shall meet you and greet you. Later drive towards Habarana. Habarana is a popular tourist destination for safari lovers as it is the starting point for safaris in the nearby Habarana jungle and the Minneriya sanctuary which is heavily populated by elephants. En-route pay your visit to Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage which is an orphanage, nursery and captive breeding ground for wild Asian elephants located 80 km northeast of Colombo, is regarded as the biggest herd of captive elephants in the world. This orphanage was established in 1975 by the Sri Lanka Department of Wildlife Conservation in order to afford care and protection to many of the orphaned unweaned wild elephants. Later continue your drive towards Habarana. On arrival at Habaran, check-in to your pre-booked hotel. Today your rest of the day is free at leisure. Overnight stay is in Habarana.

Day 02 : Habarana
Today morning after having breakfast in hotel proceed for a day’s excursion to Sigiriya. It is one of the island's that has mostly awe-inspiring archaeological sites and a leading tourist attraction. It is also consider as one of the oldest tourist attractions in the world with visitors recording their impressions in some of the earliest-known graffiti. The ancient palace of Sigiriya, a UNESCO World Heritage Site was built by King Kasyapa and earlier it was used as a Buddhist monastery until the 14th century. Afternoon enjoy a jeep safari in the Minneriya National park which is famous for its migrant heard of wild Elephants. This 8,890 hectares of Minneriya National Park consists of mixed evergreen forest and scrub areas and is home to animals such as sambhur, deer, leopards and elephants. However the central feature of the park is the ancient Minneriya Tank which is an artificial lake in Sri Lanka made by an old civilisation. King Mahasena ordered a dam build across the Minneriya River, which made the lake. During the dry season from the month of June to September, this tank is an incredible place to observe the elephants who come to bathe and graze, as well as the huge flocks of birds. Later return to hotel. Overnight stay is in Habarana.

Day 03 : Habarana – Kandy (95 kms / 01 ½ hrs)
Today morning after having breakfast in hotel, drive towards Kandy. En-route visiting spice garden of Matale to see spices growing in their natural habitat. Treat your eyes to the verdant greenery spread all around you, while taking-in the aroma of the tea leaves. Later continue your drive towards Kandy. On arrival at Kandy, check in to your pre-booked hotel. Evening visit the Tooth of the temple or Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic, to view an enchanting cultural performance. This World Heritage Site consists of relic of Lord Buddhism’s tooth. No tourist should miss said to have been snatched from the Buddha's funeral pyre and smuggled to Sri Lanka in the hair of a princess, the tooth relic is of great spiritual significance. Overnight stay is in Kandy.

Day 04 : Kandy

Today morning after having breakfast in hotel visit the royal botanical gardens, situated about 5.5 km to the westfrom the city of Kandy in the Central Province of Sri Lanka and attracts 2 million visitors annually. Sri Lanka’s botanic gardens have a long and proud history, punctuated by colonialism, and industrial change & throughout this period the gardens have continued to flourish, and the plant collections and herbarium grown. It includes more than 4000 species of plants, including of orchids, spices, medicinal plants and palm trees. The total area of the botanical garden is 147 acres which is managed by the Division of National Botanic Gardens of the Department of Agriculture. Later also visit to a Tea Plantation to see how tea is plucked and a Factory to witness the processing of the raw green leaf to the final graded product. Evening is free at leisure. Overnight stay is in Kandy.

Day 05 : Kandy – Colombo

Today morning after having breakfast in hotel, drive back to capital city of Sri Lanka, Colombo. On arrival at Colombo, check-in to your pre-booked hotel. Afternoon enjoy the city tour of Colombo which includes visit to the Residential, Commercial and Bazaar areas. Also visit the well-known Departmental stores such as “House of Fashion” and “ODEL”, which has internationally recognized “Designer” brands of clothing at an unbelievable price. Today you also have to opportunity to enjoy the nightlife of Colombo, by visiting any of the popular casinos of the city. Overnight stay is in Colombo.

Day 06 : Colombo Depart

Today morning after breakfast transfer to Colombo airport to board the flight for onward journey or back home .
