Destination : Delhi – Agra – Delhi

Day 1: Delhi – Agra (200 kms / 03 hrs)
Today morning our company representative shall meet you and greet you. Later we drive to Agra, the home of majestic Taj. The city reveals the map of bygone Mughal era drawn with the colors of war, rivalry, sovereignty, royalty, conspiracy, bloodshed, etc. On arrival at Agra, check-in to your designated hotel. Later after some wash and change, our company guide will take you for a full day guided sightseeing tour of Agra.

Start your sightseeing tour with the visit to the massive Agra Fort. The Fort is a treasure trove of Mughal architecture in India built with red sandstone and white marble. Commissioned by the great Mughal Emperor Akbar in 1565 A.D., Agra fort is now recognized as UNESCO World Heritage site and known for its best stone carvings and a great example of finest Mughal architecture. Inside the massive walls of this massive red sandstone fort of Agra there are many fairy-tale palaces, embellished chambers, hospitable reception rooms and marvelous mosques.
Thereafter we visit the tomb of great Emperor Akbar at Sikandra. The tomb was planned by Emperor Akbar according to Tartary tradition but after his death Emperor Jahangir gave it a final shape. The decoration on the gateways is strikingly bold, with large mosaic patterns set into it. It is an important Mughal architectural masterpiece, built in 1605–1613 and has a perfect blending of Hindu, Christian, Islamic, Buddhist, Jain themes.


Later some time free to relax and have your lunch at local city hotel. Here you have a great opportunity to enjoy shopping at local markets of Agra so that you can pick up souvenirs. The city is known for its fabulous marble-made handicrafts and soft stone inlay work. Explore the Agra’s rich heritage of handicraft items at the local markets.

At the time of Sunset you will be taken to the monument of immeasurable beauty and love – the majestic Taj Mahal. Regarded as one of the Seven Wonders of the World, it is a white marble mausoleum built in the memory of his beloved third wife, Mumtaz Mahal with whom he was fallen in love at the first sight. Special permission & passes are taken much beforehand from the authorities for the guests to view the Taj at the time of Sunset. It is pretty well-known in the world and tourists love to visit the beauty of this majestic mausoleum at the time of sunset which stain the Taj an exotic shade of orange. Later after sightseeing drive back to hotel. Overnight stay is in Agra.

Day 02 : Agra – Delhi
Today early morning again pay your visit to Taj Mahal to witness its charming beauty at the time of Sunrise when the skies tend to be clear. Make sure to photograph yourself with beautiful Taj as you have to take home radiant memories. Later drive back to hotel and have your relishing breakfast in hotel.
Thereafter you will be escorted to Itmad-ud-Daulah’s Tomb, a Mughal mausoleum commissioned by the wife of Emperor Jahangir, Nur Jahan in the memory of her father. This great mausoleum is often described as a "Jewel Box", sometimes also called the "Baby Taj" and regarded as a draft of the Taj Mahal. Situated along the eastern bank of River Yamuna, the mausoleum is primarily built from red sandstone with beautiful decorations of white marble.

Lastly we visit one of the best preserved collections of Mughal architecture in India – Fatehpur Sikri. The city that was founded in 1569 by the Mughal emperor Akbar, and later served as the capital of the Mughal Empire from 1571 to 1585. Here, you will get to see some finest monuments such as Diwan-i-Am, Diwan-i-Khas, Buland Darwaza and many more. Later after completing your sightseeing tour, drive back to Delhi. On arrival at Delhi, you will be transferred to you respective hotel.
