Day 01  Arrive Delhi & Sightseeing
Today morning on your arrival at Delhi International Airport, our company representative shall greet you & assist you with the check-in formalities. Delhi - the capital city of India, located in the northern part of India. The city has its own historical importance for the fact that it has been the home to Mughal Empire for a long time. Its rulers had built some magnificent monuments here. The City attracts a large number of tourists towards its monuments and sprawling markets. Later after some relaxation enjoy the guided city sightseeing tour of New Delhi and Old Delhi.
Start your Old sightseeing with the visit to Raj Ghat - the memorial site where Mahatma Gandhi was cremated and Jama Masjid - the largest mosque in India; courtyard capable of holding 25,000 devotees. New Delhi sightseeing includes a visit to the Humayun's Tomb - built in 1565 A.D. nine years after the death of Humayun, by his senior widow Bega Begam, Qutub Minar - the tower of 11th century, built by Qutab-ud-din Aibak immediately after the defeat of Delhi's last Hindu kingdom, Rajpath - a drive along the ceremonial avenue, past the imposing India Gate, Parliament House which is also known as Rashtrapati Bhawan, the President's Residence and would end with a drive through the Diplomatic Enclave. Later after sightseeing drive back to hotel. Evening is free at leisure. Overnight stay is at hotel in Delhi.

Day 01 (Wednesday) : Board from Delhi (Reporting 1800 Hrs & Depart at 1830 Hrs)
Morning have your lavish breakfast in hotel. Today your day is free to explore the city on your own. Evening on time transfer to Railway Station and board the Palace on wheels for a 7 night luxury train journey. The journey of your lifetime begins here at the Delhi Cantonment station where you will be accorded a warm and traditional welcome before a week-long luxury cruise through fascinating Rajasthan. Later have a royal dinner on board and a sound sleep.

Day 02 (Thursday) : Jaipur (Arrive at 0345 Hrs & Depart at 2000 Hrs)
The first royal stop of Palace on Wheels is Jaipur - capital city of Rajasthan, also recognised as the “Pink City of Rajasthan”, founded by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II in 1727 A.D. Later explore the city in an air-conditioned luxury coach. Visit Hawa Mahal also known as “Palace of Winds”, which is a remarkable five storied building with elaborated balconies along the main street of the old city in pink splendour with semi-octagonal and delicate honey combed sandstone windows. This is followed by a visit to Amber Fort where you will enjoy the elephant ride from the foot to the top of the hill. It is one of the main attraction of Jaipur; its construction was started by Man Singh I in 1592, and completed by his descendent Jai Singh I, a masterpiece of Mughal architecture and royalty. Later after having lunch at a Palace Hotel, visit City Palace Museum - home of the erstwhile royal family, palace complex in Jaipur situated in the heart of the old City which occupies about one seventh of the old city area. Right across the road from the City Palace is the Jantar Mantar Observatory - collection of architectural astronomical instruments; largest and the best preserved of the five observatories built by Jai Singh in different parts of India.  Later after sightseeing, the Luxury coaches will take you back to Palace on Wheels around 6.30 pm. Have your lavish and royal dinner on Board.

Day 03
 (Friday) : Sawai Madhopur & Chittorgarh
Sawai Madhopur (Arrive at 0530 Hrs & Depart at 1020 Hrs)
Morning at 0530 Hrs arrive Sawai Madhopur - One can almost sense a life of the wilderness, city named after its founder Maharaja Sawai Madho Singh I. After having lavish breakfast a visit is arranged to the Ranthambore National Park - one of the most famous wildlife sanctuary and tiger reserve in India which is said to have the India’s friendliest tigers. The park covering an area of 392 sq. kms. is home to more than 300 species of birds, tigers, hyena, rat, jackal and fox. This is considered to be the best place in the world to photograph the tiger in its natural habitat. Later you will be driven back to the Palace-on-Wheels where will you leave for Chittorgarh - where one gets an opportunity to watch the colourful countryside passing by in the daylight.

Chittorgarh {Arrive at 1600 Hrs & Depart at 0200 Hrs (Next Day)}
After having lavish lunch on board you are in Chittorgarh - the pride and glory of valiant Rajputs. This city is one of the most fascinating cities of Rajasthan. Images of love and velour; scars of battles lost and won. Chittorgarh Fort is all this and more. One of the most formidable forts in India. Chittorgarh Fort is the symbol of the Rajput bravery and sacrifice. Moving legends of honour and pride will echo in your mind as you proceed to Udaipur.

Day 04 (Saturday) : Udaipur (Arrive at 0800 Hrs & Depart at 1530 Hrs)
Today morning arrival in Udaipur – also known as “City of lakes”, was founded by Maharana Udai Singh of Mewar in 1559A.D. This city is considered as the most romantic city in India because of its charming lakes and is the most popular destination among the tourist. The two most beautiful sites of Udaipur are the dream like marble palaces - the Jag Niwas (Lake Palace) and the Jag Mandir Island, which appear to rise from the blue waters of Lake Pichhola. After lunch at a Five Star Hotel, visit to the City Palace - very beautifully ornamented with the design grouping of Rajputana and Mughal structural. It is one of the largest palaces in the world which is located all along the eastern coast of Lake Pichola; a fascinating compilation of structures added by a variety of Kings after Udai Singh constructed in the year 1725. Later in afternoon, back to Palace on Wheel to leave for Jaisalmer.

Day 05
 (Sunday) : Jaisalmer (Arrive at 0915 Hrs & Depart at 2330 Hrs)
Jaisalmer - popularly known as "The Golden city" as it is holding the massive desert; founded by Rawal Jaisal, in 1 1 56 A.D. Here the yellow sandstone fort is an imposing sight, towering magnificently over the city. This fort is the biggest and the most beautiful landmark of the city. Discover the havelis or mansions with their grand facades built by the wealthy merchants, which are still in very good condition. The havelis like Nathmalji-ki-haveli, Patwon-ki-haveli and Salim Singh-ki-haveli are remarkable for their stone carver's skill, yellow and red stone treatment and the bracket-shaped decoration of peacocks. Shop for fine pattu shawls, mirror work and embroidered articles, wooden boxes, trinkets, silver jewellery and curios. Later after having royal lunch on board, go for an exciting camel ride on the Sam Sand Dunes, before sipping a refreshing cup of tea. Later enjoy the dinner with the ethnic rajasthani cultural porgramme at a five Star hotel.

Day 06
 (Monday) : Jodhpur (Arrive at 0700 Hrs & Depart at 1630 Hrs)
Today morning arrival at Jodhpur - a city ringed by a high stone wall with seven gates and several bastions. The city is also recognised as the Sun City due to its bright sunny weather throughout the year, Jodhpur is one of the prime tourist places in India. This second largest city of Rajasthan, founded by Rao Jodha in 1459 A.D. is known for its rock-solid massive Mehrangarh Fort which is the major attraction of the city. The grand palaces within are Moti Mahal, Sheesh Mahal, Phool Mahal, Sileh Khana and Daulat Khana are impressive examples of architectural excellence. Near the fort complex lies Jaswant Thada – a white marble cenotap. After having lavish lunch at a Palace hotel, return to the Palace-on-Wheels to leave for Bharatpur. While in Jodhpur shop for exquisite handicraft articles including the famous breeches, embroidered shoes, metal curios, silverware, paintings and tie and dye fabrics.

Day 07 (Tuesday) : Bharatpur & Agra
Bharatpur (Arrive at 0500 Hrs & Depart at 0845 Hrs)
Today morning arrival at Bharatpur - the capital of Maharaja Suraj Mal . After having lavish breakfast pay your visit to the world famous bird sanctuary, Keoladeo Ghana National Park - the nesting place for thousands of Egrets, Siberian Cranes, migratory Water Fowl and other species of birds. Later drive back to Palace on Wheels to leave for Agra.

Agra (Arrive at 1000 Hrs & Depart at 1930 Hrs)

Upon arrival at Agra, visit the massive Agra Fort - a famous UNESCO World Heritage Site, containing the Pearl Mosque - the rusty and majestic red-sandstone fort of Agra stands on the banks of the river Yamuna and the construction was started by Emperor Akbar in 1566. Later after having lavish lunch pay your visit to Taj Mahal - one of the seven wonders of the world. A pristine monument of undying love. It was built by Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his beloved queen Mumtaz Mahal. It is believed that its construction have taken approximate 18 years (1631-1648) with over 20,000 craftsmen working around the clock. Taj Mahal looks very gorgeous in the light of full moon and thus is a sight where a visit is  a must.  

Day 08
 (Wednesday): Delhi (Arrive at 0730 Hrs)
Today morning arrive at Delhi Safdarjung Railway station. Have your lavish breakfast on board and let the pleasant memories of the past week linger on your mind for a long, long time.
