Destinations : Delhi - Bhubaneshwar - Puri - Konark – Bhubaneshwar – Delhi

Day 01 : Arrive Delhi
Today on your arrival at Delhi, you will be greeted in an Indian traditional style by the representative of Welcome Journeys. Later transfer to your pre-booked hotel and relax. Overnight stay is in Delhi.

Day 02 : Delhi sightseeing

Morning after a relishing breakfast, proceed for the city sightseeing tour of Old Delhi and New Delhi visiting Raj Ghat – a memorial to Mahatma Gandhi marking the spot of his cremation, Red Fort - the huge magnificent red sand stone fort built by Shah Jahan. Later we enjoy a leisure walk with a joyful rickshaw ride in the narrow lanes of Chandni Chowk – the oldest market of Delhi. End your Old Delhi sightseeing with the visit to Jama Masjid - located just opposite to the Red Fort; it is the largest and the best-known mosque in India which includes the blood shielding work of about 5000 labors for building this mosque. Later head for New Delhi sightseeing visiting the Humayun’s Tomb – the tomb of 16th century built by Humayun senior wife, Hamida Banu Begum. Thereafter we visit Qutab Minar – also known as ‘Tower of Victory’; it is the highest stone tower made by Persians in 11th Century. Later enjoy a drive along Rajpath, India Gate and the Indian government buildings like President’s House and Parliament House. Overnight stay is in Delhi.

Day 03 : Delhi – Bhubaneshwar (By Flight)
Morning on time you will be transferred to Delhi airport to board your flight for Bhubaneshwar. On arrival at Bhubaneshwar, meet our company representative who will assist you to your designated hotel. Later after some relaxation, we head for city sightseeing covering Parasurameswara Temple - the oldest surviving temple of the city built in 650 A.D and dedicated to Lord Shiva. Thereafter we visit Dhauli complex – located 08kms from the city, is famous for Great Emperor Ashoka’s rock edicts which date back to 03rd sanctuary B.C. The edicts are so remarkable that they have been excellently preserved, despite the fact that they date back to the 3rd century BC. Lastly we visit 11th century Lingraj Temple and Rajarani Temple - one of the most beautiful temples representing a unique experiment in the field of architecture of the city. It has no presiding deity but many intricately carved figurines, which shows women portrayed in different poses and moods similar to the temples of Khajuraho. Overnight stay is in Bhubaneshwar.

Day 04 : Bhubaneshwar
Morning after a relaxed breakfast enjoy full day excursion to Buddhist triangle of Udaigiri, Ratnagiri and Lalitgiri. Located about 100kms North – East of Bhubaneswar, it is the most important Buddhist site of the city where a visit is a must. Overnight stay is in Bhubaneshwar.

Day 05 : Bhubaneshwar – Puri (60 Kms / 02 Hrs)

Morning after breakfast, we drive towards the most important pilgrim place, the holy land of Lord Jaganath – Puri. The city is also the home of some of the beautiful beaches, situated on the shoreline of Bay of Bengal, 60 kilometres in the south of Bhubaneswar. On arrival at Puri, you will be transferred to your pre-booked hotel. Rest of the day is free to relax on the fine white sands of Puri beach.  Overnight stay is in Puri.

Day 06 : Puri sightseeing

Morning after a relaxed breakfast, embark on a splendid city sightseeing tour visiting temples of Puri. Visit the famous Jagannath Temple - is a famous sacred Hindu temple dedicated to Lord of the Universe - Lord Jagannath. The temple was built during 12th century, has a great impact on Hindus as it is one of the four most famous holy pilgrimages of the Hindus. Later we also visit Loknath Temple – situated on the western outskirts of the town and ranked next to Jagannath Temple. The temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva, is said to be the place where Lord Shiva hid himself from Shani, under a pond. Overnight stay is in Puri.

Day 07 : Puri – Konark (35 Kms / ½ Hr drive) & Konark – Bhubaneshwar (70 Kms / 01 ½ Hrs)
Morning after breakfast, we drive towards Konark to visit the famous Sun Temple. Located at a mere distance of 35kms from the holy city of Puri, is a 13th-century Hindu temple dedicated to the Sun God. It is one of the most stunning monuments of religious significance shaped like a giant chariot and known for the exquisite stone carvings that cover the entire structure. Later after sightseeing, we drive back to Bhubaneshwar. On arrival, check-in to your hotel and relax. Overnight stay is in Bhubaneshwar.

Day 08 : Bhubaneshwar – Delhi (By Flight) & Depart

Morning on time you will be transferred to Delhi airport to board your flight for Delhi from where you will connect your onward destination flight.
