Destination : Delhi – Jaipur – Ranthambore – Agra – Delhi – Amritsar – Delhi

Day 01 : Arrive Delhi
Namaste and welcome to New Delhi, India’s capital! Today on your arrival at Delhi international airport, meet our company representative who will receive you with our traditional welcome. Later he will assist you and escort you to your pre-booked hotel. Rest of the day is free at leisure. Overnight stay is in Delhi.

Day 02 : Delhi sightseeing

Morning after a lavish breakfast, we embark on a guided sightseeing tour of Old Delhi and New Delhi. Begin your Delhi sightseeing with the experience of the bustling laneways and bazaars of Old Delhi. Travel along the winding streets to Raj Ghat - a memorial to Mahatma Gandhi where a black marble platform marks the spot of his cremation on 31 January 1948, a day after his assassination. Thereafter explore the Jama Masjid, which is the final architectural extravagance of Mughal Emper Shah Jahan, who found the walled city of Old Delhi. This mosque is the largest mosque of India built with strips of red sandstone and white marble. Later we continue along the lanes of oldest market of Delhi - Chandni Chowk, once the imperial avenue of Mughal royalty, on a cycle rickshaw.

Then we proceed to imperial city of New Delhi - a city composed of spacious, tree-lined avenues and imposing government buildings. Here we visit the Sikh Temple, Gurudwara Bangla Sahib - a holy place for Sikhs. Thereafter drive along the ceremonial avenue - Rajpath and past the imposing India Gate, Parliament house and President’s House. Lastly we visit the remarkable World Heritage Humayun’s Tomb, set in stunning gardens and Qutub Minar - a soaring Afghan-style victory tower and minaret, erected by sultan Qutb-ud-din in 1193. Overnight stay is in Delhi.

Day 03 : Delhi – Jaipur (300 kms / 04 ½ hrs)
Morning after a relaxed breakfast, we drive towards Jaipur – the capital and largest city of Rajasthan popularly known as ‘Pink City’. The city is the main gateway to the desert state of Rajasthan and attracts a large number of foreign tourists towards its stunning hilltop forts, glorious palaces and bustling bazaars. Evening is free to enjoy shopping a wide range of handicraft items at the local markets of Jaipur. Overnight stay is in Jaipur.

Day 04 : Jaipur sightseeing

Morning after a lavish breakfast, proceed for an excursion tour to Amber Fort – the former capital of Jaipur, famous for its mixture of Hindu and Muslim architecture. Construction of the fort was begun in the year 1592 by Maharaja Man Singh, the Rajput commander of Akbar’s army. Here you will enjoy a ride on the back of painted elephants up to the fort situated on the hilltop and that will surely give you a royal feel. Later we visit City Palace – one of the major landmarks of the city located in the heart of the old city. The architectural styles of the palace are largely based on a fusion of Rajput, Mughal and European styles. Thereafter we visit Jantar Mantar Observatory - a collection of architectural astronomical instruments built by Maharaja Jai Singh II in the 17th century. Combining religion, science and art the observatory is considered to be one of the largest observatories ever built by him in different parts of the country. Lastly we visit Hawa Mahal – another well-known landmark of Jaipur built of Red and Pink sandstone. The palace is renowned as ‘Palace of Winds’, is a unique five-storied structure shaped like a pyramid, known for its architecture and the history behind its establishment. Overnight stay is in Jaipur.

Day 05 : Jaipur – Ranthambore (170 kms / 03 hrs)
Morning after a relishing breakfast, drive to the wildlife sanctuary at Ranthambore National Park - one of the largest national parks in northern India, bounded to the north by Banas River and to the Chambal River in the south. The park is truly a wildlife enthusiasts and photographer’s dream, worldwide known for its tigers and is one of the best places in India to see these majestic predators in the jungle. On arrival at Ranthambore, check-in to your resort. Later in afternoon a local naturalist-guide will take you for jungle as you begin your search for elusive tigers as well as hyenas, jackals and foxes. Evening is free at leisure. Overnight stay is in Ranthambore.

Day 06 : Ranthambore

Early this morning again we will head for jungle safari in a canter where we can have an encounter with king of jungle, Tiger. Thereafter sightseeing of National Park, return back to your resort and have your lavish breakfast. Thereafter you have some time free to relax in you jungle resort. Later in Afternoon again enjoy the gaming view of the National park with an afternoon Jungle safari. Overnight stay is in Ranthambore.

Day 07 : Ranthambore – Agra (Via Fatehpur Sikri) (270 kms / 04 ½ hrs)

Today early morning after breakfast drive towards Agra with its celebrated past, rich heritage and architectural treasures. The city is beautifully situated on the banks of river Yamuna, has a rich historical background due to its magnificent monuments built by Mughal Empire in India that are known for their mind-blowing architecture. En-route we visit Fatehpur Sikri - a magnificent fortified ancient city which was the short-lived capital of the Mughal Empire between 1571 and 1585, during the reign of Emperor Akbar. The city houses some magnificent forts, palaces, private quarters and other buildings which are the best preserved collection of Mughal architecture in India. Later after sightseeing continue your drive towards Agra. On arrival at Agra, we visit Agra fort – a UNESCO world heritage site built of red sandstone and marble. The fort comprises of incredible maze of walled courtyards, lavish private chambers and two very beautiful mosques reflecting the grandeur of the Mughal Empire. Overnight stay is in Agra.

Day 08 : Agra – Delhi (220 Kms / 04 hrs) & Delhi – Amritsar (By superfast train Dep. at 1630 Hrs & Arrv. at 2235 Hrs)
Early morning before sunrise, our company guide will take you to the one of the Seven Wonders of the World – Taj Mahal to enjoy its magnificent view at the time of sunrise. It is said that the beauty of the soft dawn makes the beauty of this white vision surreal, rendering someone speechless. Later return to your hotel, have your lavish breakfast and relax. Early afternoon check-out from your hotel and drive back to Delhi to board your superfast express train for Amritsar. The city is home to Sikhism’s holiest shrine, the spectacular Golden Temple, one of India's most serene and humbling sights. Being situated in Northwest India, the city partially shares the northwest border lands between India and Pakistan at Wagah Border, a half hour drive from town. Later on arrival at Amritsar, meet our company representative who will meet you and assist you to your hotel with the check-in formalities. Overnight stay is in Amritsar.

Day 09 : Amritsar sightseeing

Morning after a relishing breakfast, we embark on a sightseeing tour of the holy city – Amritsar, visiting the spectacular Golden Temple also known as ‘Darbar Sahib’ or ‘Harmandir Sahib’. This is a great example of the spirit of tolerance and acceptance that the Sikh philosophy propounds. It is the most sacred temple for Sikhs that symbolizes magnificence and strength of the Sikh people all over the world. The building was heavily damaged when it was stormed by the Indian army during Operation Blue Star in the year 1984 which on can see while travelling here. Thereafter we visit Jallianwala Bagh; a memorial of the martyrs of the 1919 massacre built in the shape of eternal flame of liberty. The memorial commemorates the 1500 Indians killed or wounded when a British officer ordered his soldiers to shoot on unarmed protesters in the year 1919 during the time of freedom. Afternoon we visit Wagah Border which is less than 30 Kms in the west of Amritsar, between India and Pakistan to attend the evening spectacular ceremony. It is the only land border open between Pakistan and India where a visit is a must when to recharge your patriotic feelings with rousing hurrahs for India during the elaborate ceremonial change of guard held on both sides of the border, at sunset every day. Later after sightseeing drive back to hotel. Overnight stay is in Amritsar

Day 10 : Amritsar – Delhi (By superfast train Dep. at 0500 Hrs & Arrv. at 1115 Hrs)

Morning on time you will be transferred to Amritsar railway station to board your superfast train for Delhi. On arrival at Delhi, check-in to your hotel and relax. Afternoon we visit one of the major highlight of Delhi in your Temple, Tiger and Taj Trail tour. Visit Akshardham Temple located along the River Yamuna is a beautiful Hindu temple complex carved by 7000 sculptors out of pink sandstone and white marble with over 20,000 statues, floral motifs and exquisite carved pillars. The temple brilliantly showcases the essence of India’s ancient architecture, traditions and timeless spiritual messages. Later after sightseeing drive back to hotel. The grandness of this temple earned it a prized place in the Guinness Book of World Records as the World’s Largest Comprehensive Hindu temple. Overnight stay is in Delhi. (Please note the Akshardham Temple is closed on Monday’s for its visitors)

Day 11 : Delhi depart

Morning on time you will be escorted to Delhi international airport to board your flight back home or onward destination.
